Excuse me, but I'm moving to Oregon.

Ok, I'm not really moving.

And if I did move to Oregon, not too bad an idea, in itself, I sure wouldn't move to Portland.  I don't care what anyone says about the town, it's mostly grubby looking and stupidly laid out.  Still, there are reasons one might choose to live there, not the least of which is  a stoners' cafe.

What  a great idea, and a step toward rational thinking about smoke.  Yes, it's for medical smoke people, but that's only for now.  That's changing, and pretty quickly, it seems.  Whatever the reasonable arguments for legalizing dope smoking, there are NO reasonable arguments against it, as long as drinking alcohol is legal.

Anyone over ten can run off on their fingers the horribly negative shit alcohol indulgence causes or fuels.  NONE of that bullshit attends to dope smoking.  None.  So, as far as I'm concerned, until alcohol is made illegal...which I do not support and understand would never work...again...there ARE no arguments against the legalization of dope smoking.

Now, of course, I do just happen to qualify for  a medical marijuana license here in good ole North California, having a painful and debilitating chronic medical condition.  Had I one, which I do not, I'd be able to go into medical smoke shops and buy up some bud, maybe twist one up there, and kick back for a while...you know, watching football, munching anything, and helping my chronic condition feel better.

Still, my understanding is that street dope is much easier to get, much cheaper, and just as good.  I think I read that in the paper, or someplace.

...cough...

  1. Another reason to move to Oregon is-you can legally have yourself 'put to sleep'.

  3. Observation. You've got to stick around a while and reep those good union benefits.
